Marine Museum
Marine Museum DubrovnikThis museum is located on the first and second floor of the St. Ivan Fort. The first floor exhibits provides a look at the cross development of Dubrovnik Maritime and shipping, from the beginning until the fall of the Dubrovnik Republic. On the second floor there are exhibits that show the re-rise of Dubrovnik Maritime, steamships and strength in Dubrovnik until the second World War and later. In the museum there is a valuable library with rare books and important documents. Winter working time is from 9 AM to 4 PM, except on Mondays when the museum closed. Summer working time is from 9 AM to 6 PM, closed on Mondays. The ticket prices are 40 KN for adults, and 20 KN for children. 
Dubrovnik Aquarium, Institute for Marine and Coastal
Akvarij Dubrovnik, Institut za more i priobaljeIt is situated also in the Fort St. Ivan as a Marine Museum. Visitors have the opportunity to pause in front of the 31 aquarium pools, in which are the many and varied fauna and flora of the Adriatic Sea. You will meet with the earliest inhabitants of Dubrovnik Aquarium, a turtle that has been here since 1953, the octopus, tooth, gilthead, sea bass, eels, murine, and until recently rare in the Adriatic - "kostorog". You will also see the coral in the shape of flower bushes, sea stars, sea urchins, snails, clams, shrimp ... and a special resident - sea horse, which is a trademark of the aquarium.
Cultural and Historical Museum
Kulturno povijesni muzej It is located in the Duke's Palace iin the street in front of the Palace. The ground floor of the palace is a courtroom, prison, and registries. On the mezzanine are subject collections of Dubrovnik money, stamps, measures, clocks... Also there are beautiful pieces of furniture, uniforms, weapons and portraits. On the first floor, besides the Baroque and Rococo furniture there are paintings by Italian masters. In the southern part is a Duke's bedroom in the Rococo style. Winter working time is from 9 AM to 4 PM, every day, and summer working time is from 9 AM to 6 PM, also every day. The ticket price is 40 KN for adults and 20 KN for children.
Ethnographic Museum Rupe
Etnografski muzej Rupe It is located in an old barn from the 16th century. The barn was built by Dubrovnik government where they kept reserves of wheat, barley and millet in 15 large wells carved into stone. New permanent collection of the Ethnographic Museum was set up in 1991 in a renovated building. Setup displays the traditional culture of Dubrovnik area on the first floor, and on the second floor you can see folk costumes, lace and other textile handicrafts which are specific for this area. Office hours are from 9 AM to 4 PM, except Tuesdays when the museum is closed to visitors. Ticket prices for adults is 40 KN, and for children 20 KN. 
Home of Marin Držić
Dom Marina DržićaVisit to this museum will bring you back to the 16th century and show you the life and work of the greatest Croatian Renaissance playwright, Marin Držić. If you find yourself in this unique place, you will be surrounded by puppets and posters, and you can use the audio guide, which has the embedded interpretations of Držić's texts. Visitors to this museum do not feel just as visitors but as participants and creators of the theater. In the summer the museum is open from 10 AM to 9 PM, in the pre- and post- season from 10 AM to 6 PM, and in the winter from 10 AM to 4 PM. Mondays closed. Ticket price for adults is 20 KN, and for children 10 KN.
Ronald Brown Memorial House
Memorijalna kuća Ronalda BrownaIt is open on the first anniversary of the tragic death of the American Ministers of Trade Ronald Brown and his associates. Aircraft accidents occurred during a peace mission on April 3rd 1996 near Dubrovnik. In his honor, a permanent exhibition of paintings by the foremost Dubrovnik painters of 20th century: Antun Maslo, Ivano Dulčićo and Đuro Pulitika was opened.
Homeland War Museum
Muzej domovinskog rata It is located on a Srđ hill in a part of Imperial fortress. This fortress is a symbol of defense of Dubrovnik. The fort is open an exhibition titled "Dubrovnik in the Homeland War in 1991-1995“. There are about 500 items exhibited. Summer opening hours the museum is from 9 AM to 6 PM, and in the winter museum is opened from 9 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free for all visitors.
Memorial Room of Dubrovnik's Fallen Veterans
Spomen soba poginulih dubrovačkih braniteljaIt is located in the palace Sponza where photos of Dubrovnik's defenders are exposed. These defenders died in the Homeland war. In the winter Palace is open from 10 AM to 3 PM, and in the summer from 9 AM to 10 PM. Entry is free.
