Theater in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik throughout its history had a rich theatrical tradition. The theater was named after the greatest comedians of Dubrovnik Marin Držić.

It was founded at the end of the Second World War, and has its own artistic ensemble. It is rich in plays, especially during the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. It is not only active in Dubrovnik, but in other Croatian and international cities, as well.
