Why to stay in Lapad, Dubrovnik

Lapad is suburb of Dubrovnik, located about three kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik Old Town. Lapad is a quieter part of town surrounded by greenery and beautiful beaches. There is large number of excellent restaurants and cafes in Lapad that are mostly located in street Ivo Vojnović. A large number of hotels and Dubrovnik private accommodation can be found in Lapad, considering that this is rezidentional part, you will not have the impression that you are in the center of tourist destinations. Regardless of where you are located in Lapad, you can walk to get to the attractive beach, restaurants, cafes ... However, the walk to the Old Town  is a bit demanding, but fortunately there are city buses that operate frequently, excellent connecting all parts of the city. Some parts of Lapad are only pedestrian zone, but most hotels have their own parking lots or garages.
